An Australian customer purchased a set of cereal bar production line from our company and came to our company for a trial run today.
The grain bar production line is an automated continuous production line that processes various grains, nuts, syrups and other raw materials into ready-to-eat nutritional bars through processes such as mixing, shaping, baking (or cooling), and packaging.
Main Production Process
1.Raw Material Pre-processing
Content: Including the roasting of oats and nuts (to enhance flavor); The puffing of rice and corn Preheating and melting of syrup, etc.
Objective: To prepare for subsequent blending and lay the foundation for the basic flavor and texture of the product.
2. Mixing
Core: This is a crucial step in determining the product formula and uniformity. Put the pre-treated dry raw materials (oatmeal, puffed grains, protein powder, crushed nuts) and wet raw materials (syrup, honey, oil, flavoring agent) into the mixer in precise proportions.
Requirement:The mixture must be uniform to ensure that each grain bar has the same composition. At the same time, excessive stirring should be avoided to prevent the raw materials (such as dry or nuts) from breaking.
3. Forming
The process: The well-mixed materials are conveyed into the forming machine via a conveyor belt. There are two most common ways:
Roll cutting: Materials are pressed into sheets of uniform thickness by one or more pairs of pressure rollers, and then cut into the required rods by molds.
Extrusion forming: The material is forced through a die and directly extruded into a continuous rod shape.
Key: Control the gap and pressure of the pressure rollers well to ensure that the weight, density and thickness of each rod are consistent.
4. Spraying/Coating
content:Some products will be sprayed or dipped with chocolate, yogurt or flavored sauces after cooling.
Equipment: Usually includes a coating machine and a cooling tunnel (used to solidify the coating).
5. Packaging
Inner packaging: This is the key to ensuring the shelf life of the product. Vertical bag packaging machines are usually used to complete a series of actions such as bag making, filling, nitrogen filling (optional for preservation), date coding, and cutting. The seal should be tight, aesthetically pleasing and have good barrier properties (moisture-proof and oxidation-proof).
Outer packaging: Several grain sticks are packed into paper boxes, shrink films or gift bags for convenient transportation and sale.
6. Inspection
Full-process quality control: The production line usually integrates weighing scales (to ensure that the weight of each bag is qualified), metal detectors or X-ray machines (to remove foreign objects such as metal, glass and plastic), to ensure product safety and quality.
Summary: The commissioning of the grain bar production line this time was very successful and received high recognition from the customer. We look forward to long-term cooperation.
